2015 and 2016 I was scrounging for work, got hired on early 2017, saved enough money to say fuck you to my old company last month and got hired on tuesday after putting in an app a week earlier. Georgia pede and Braves fan here. I knew going into the NLCS this year that it was gonna be tough but we had a chance to make it to the WS.
I mean, the Braves were a great team, but the Dodgers were RETARDED great. Even their at-bats were just frustrating for me to watch because they spoiled so many good pitches while working deep counts and made pitchers throw mistakes for them to capitalize off of. Words cannot express how much I envy that.
The fact that the series went to a Gm 7 and the Braves lost by 1 run stings a lot, but it also showed we could trade haymakers with the Dodgers. Our time will come, it just wasn't this year. And hey, we're actually the second favorite to win it all next year after you guys, so there's that.
