Genuinely curious. He came out guns a blazin when he was appointed (or hired or whatever) but quickly fizzled out. Is he deep state? How and why did he become so useless? He should be cracking heads left and right right about now no? What the fuck...

Because he's caught up in the laptop from hell. Him AND Wray both were profiting off some of these deals, via their law firms. Wray sat across from Hunter on the negotiation table, at least once. Wray never disclosed any of this, and I'm sure as hell Barr didn't either.
I'm not sure i keep hoping Trump is holding him for something since he isn't tweeting at him. After the election hopefully we can get to cleaning house Barr and Durham included if need be
He's alone, the DOJ is a barge it cannot turn on a dime. Real investigations take time, even harder when opposition is everywhere. Plus I do think Barr has a noble streak that causes him to believe in trying to restore the system over vindication.
So I guess that second part might qualify him as a cuck in your eyes.
