I really don't know how so many people can work against themselves by supporting the Democrats right now. Even if you have TDS, you would have to completely ignore everything the Democrats are promising to do to want them in power. If I hated Trump that much I would just vote 3rd party or something. Especially with such a weak and terrible ticket like Biden and Harris, who will top the list of "also rans" as possibly the worst major party ticket in Presidential election history.

Likely, if you are a democrat and think that fossil fuels need to go, you probably are part of the group who will be taxed. Notice how the tax raises are just on "the upper class" not any specific salary? Because theyre going to raise taxes on anyone that makes more than 50k/year (well, everyone else too because trumps tax cuts are gonna be gone).
And even if you aren't part of that group, if you're part of the lower class group that doesn't work for the oil industry, then you're going to get fucked during the shut downs that Biden had been espousing.
