Interesting. I always wondered how the decision to choose between DEVGRU and Delta is made. I assumed it was whichever one made the better pitch to leadership. For example, DEVGRU was chosen for OBL in Pakistan and Delta got Al Baghdadi in Syria. I'd think those areas would be in the same region.

Just so you can understand - OG comment said it was interesting that ST6 operates in W Africa. I was joking about how we just used the world most elite military unit in an unexpected area.
