State elections are crucial in CA - power needs to be taken away from the state legislature and the governor. CA was once a republican/conservative powerhouse, and it can be again. It's THE hardest race to win currently, but if the whole country goes red, it WILL follow.
The problem is, it's really hard to find trustworthy polling data in the state. I think some damage will be done to the Dems, but it's def an uphill fight, as always.
