My best friend's brother is gay. She said he's not voting for Biden, not sure if it's a secret Trump vote or not. But either way Dems aren't getting the gay vote as much as in years past.

It's insane to think that just because you like dick it also means you want high taxes, open borders etc.

pepperconchobhar 22 points ago +24 / -2

I like dick and also want low taxes and border security.

But I'm a girl, so...

Guess I'm a self-hating misogynist who votes against my own interests! :-D

Think a lot of the hate for Republicans come from the old days of the marriage equality fight.

And even then, the slippery slope we feared has actually happened

Sure, let two consenting adults enter a legal agreement. No problem.

But how quick it opened the door to trans people in girls locker rooms, ‘bake my cake bigot’, ‘wax my lady-balls’, and ‘men have periods too’ being taught to our kids in school...

Well it's been ruled the Constitution covers that. So I back it. Unfortunately, the ol' Constitution doesn't say what to do about slippery slopes.

I’m not against gay marriage either

Problem is how quickly all the other shit got tagged onto it

2
memtndude 2 points ago +2 / -0

I don't see it that way. I see people that wanted to be treated as equals, then all of a sudden a bunch of shit stains latched on to their movement because it was gaining support. Most of the gay people I know say they don't like it, but they only say that when alone. They never speak up in their groups. I've noticed there's a lot of that.

whippeat 1 point ago +1 / -0

I agree totally. We're saying the same thing.

I'm not saying gay people caused this. I'm saying democrat leftist activists caused it.

They supported marriage equality. Fair enough, most conservatives supported it too. Once that happened (by SCOTUS decision, not law-making by consensus), most conservatives were like "ok, fine, no problem."

But now it's LGBTQPA+ whatever, trying to keep that going by adding a whole bunch of insanity onto the movement. And the funny thing is, now you have conflict within that movement, because there's actually no logical reason why lesbians, gay, trans, asexual etc would ever want to be lumped together.

Like, if you're a lesbian, why would you want trans "women" with cocks? And then you're told that you're a bigot for not wanting that lady dick. Or even moderate feminists like JK Rowling, now labelled as extremists because trans "women" are trampling on the rights of actual biological women. They've all gone off the deep end now, and I hope we see gays, lesbians flocking to the conservative side. They should be outraged about how the left wing activists have basically exploited their movement.

That's a for year old picture of Trump with the gay pride flag. He was pro gay rights (and vocally so) before entering office.

I was with Trump in 2016 and I am even louder, more in their face and pissed now.

Fuck the left. And fuck every straight, liberal, white woman who tells me I am voting against my "interests". It's always the liberal white women.

Based gays are MAGA simple as that.

6
crash7863 6 points ago +6 / -0

That's great and all, but that's like 1% of the population. To be honest, gays are hugely over represented in politics and media.

1
DragonEnergyDick 1 point ago +1 / -0

It’s not the homosexual’s vote we need necessarily, it’s their friends and family. Practically everyone knows someone who is gay. If I thought that the GOP was a legitimate danger to blacks, gays, etc then I wouldn’t vote for them.

Also, people forget about bisexuals, who make up a surprising portion of the population, especially amongst youngsters.

1
crash7863 1 point ago +1 / -0

My understanding of your opinion is that that we should be open minded and forgiving? I think that's what you're saying.

1
DragonEnergyDick 1 point ago +1 / -0

As you said, they’re a small portion of the population, yet they seem to matter to a lot of people. It’s a losing issue.

1
crash7863 1 point ago +1 / -0

Ah, optics. That's what you're driving for. Yea, you don't want to be the party of bigotry.

It's important to remember that conservatives at their core are traditionalists. They will never accept or embrace the LGBT crowd. The LGBT conservatives that are here have probably already come to terms with this.

“Conservatives”

Republicans are not a monolith of conservatives. I’m more libertarian-minded in a social sense. I’m a big believer in personal freedom. Also, Republicans will never win without the independent vote.

Conservatives, as in women shouldn’t wear pants conservatives, are a dying breed. Not many of the younger generations think that way. Even in the Republican Party.

2
crash7863 2 points ago +2 / -0

You are eluding to the problems of our 2 party system. It does suck. It's what we got though. This time around the head of the republicans is a populist. I don't know what the republicans are going to try to be in 4 years though.

I've always seen republicans fuck up. I seem to now know what wins. No free trade. Only equitable trade. And then, of course, limited government.

DragonEnergyDick 2 points ago +2 / -0

I agree. I do think, however, that whoever Trump endorses will be his successor.

Lion Party, MAGA!

The first vocal Trump supporter I met (back in 2016) was a gay dude. He was a super chill dude, not some flamboyant guy. I didn't understand why he was so excited about Trump at the time, just something about "disrupting the system" and how "Trump trolls the left."

"Normal" LGBT people don't spend all their spare time listening to "QueerlyRadio" and obsessing over their identity.

Ha......the homosexual guy is the spokesman for the homosexuals in the population.

I like Rick. But his gay identiterianism is annoying. I wish he had more of a Peter Thiel attitude where he doesn't feel the need to flaunt it.

Freetrial 26 points ago +26 / -0

I kind of like it, cause he weaponizes it on the left. I get it can be patronizing, but the way I see it.... Use the weapons on the left... against the left.

MAGA_mantis 12 points ago +12 / -0

Yes, but he uses it to mock them and expose the hypocrisy. I like it. Glad to have him on the team.
