I really liked Sean Connery, but he turned down the roll of Gandalf because he said he “didn’t get it”, yet...Zardoz?! 😂😂😂

I know, I know, when he did Zardoz he was a young up and comer, but I always thought that was a funny dichotomy.

Funny thing about that is Tolkien was well known in the UK for decades before they did the movies... but I guess Connery never heard of the series before that.
