Sounds like some shit where in states like MN, MI, NC, etc they could shut down rural polling stations and only let the Dem filled cities vote. Could you imagine the chaos if they suddenly without notice told everyone they had to drive an hour or two and find parking downtown. It would be insane.
I hadn't considered it before now... I'm near Bethel (rural town where the bikers and BLM clashed this summer). It is completely red out here... There is 1 Biden sign within about 10 miles of my house in any direction. There are several houses that have gone all out for Trump, whole fence lines filled with Trump flags.
I just hope our precinct is too small for them to worry about. I won't be intimidated. I just hope other people feel the same.
I'm speaking hypothetically about if the govt officials closed those rural locations. What are they going to do? They'd prolly lock the doors and turn off the lights.
Iowan here- they shutdown my normal polling place and moved it to a different building. I'm new to the town so I have to get help figuring out where it is. So they're not just shutting them down on election day and not providing an alternative, they've scheduled them and you can find out where to go instead.
