I get what you're saying but this is most likely statistically false. Specifically people on this site are sort of self selected, they aren't a reflection of the population at large. I'd guess somewhere around 25pct of the people on this site would nut up if it came down to it. But yeah of 100 people in a grocery store or something 97 would hide out at home.

I have looked down the wrong end of a gun twice. Each time a very strange calmness came over me. Total zen. Never experienced anything like it in any other situation.
I also caught a prowler in my house. Scared the shit out of me. He was dead before I even knew I'd emptied the clip. Still have the occasional nightmare about that one. Zero empathy for him. It sometimes almost bothers me that his death does not bother me, if you know what I mean.

It wasn't acceptance of death. At no point did I think I was going to die.
In my opinion, that statement is frighteningly accurate.
My goal is to be half the right amount of crazy, half criminal, and half well meaning. Basically, the Manbearpig of MAGA.
