"98% of the people in this world will freeze up if placed in a violent situation. Another 1% are your criminals, rapists, and others wishing to do harm to others. The last 1% are good guys who are just the right amount of crazy."
I have looked down the wrong end of a gun twice. Each time a very strange calmness came over me. Total zen. Never experienced anything like it in any other situation.
I also caught a prowler in my house. Scared the shit out of me. He was dead before I even knew I'd emptied the clip. Still have the occasional nightmare about that one. Zero empathy for him. It sometimes almost bothers me that his death does not bother me, if you know what I mean.

It wasn't acceptance of death. At no point did I think I was going to die.
In my opinion, that statement is frighteningly accurate.
My goal is to be half the right amount of crazy, half criminal, and half well meaning. Basically, the Manbearpig of MAGA.
