I seem to remember earlier on there was the Berkley protests. Every night there was violence. One night the Right didn't show up I don't remember the reason. The problem with your logic is that sometimes that decision is made for you. There are plenty of people out there that are perfectly willing to use force, and if you have removed that as an option for yourself then you are at their mercy.
