In my state, the polling places are NOT allowed to have any sort of police or security guards on site. The workers can only call 9-1-1 if there is an immediate threat.
Im far from special and I can pickup from a down hold, put the dot on anything in >1 second and send it with absurd surgical precision. Its actually scary how precise one can be.
...........
Its painfully clear 99% of these morons have not the slightest clue about the reality they could face.
baofeng is cheap chinese crap, and if you are asking this question, you are not a licensed ham, so you cant transmit anyway legally.
you need a radio that us receiving only. the last thing hams need during a shtf scenario is a bunch if unlicensed operators clogging up the airwaves when important comms are being delivered.
pick up an icom ic-r6, this will pick up am/fm radio, shortwave, vhf/uhf (144, 225, 440), marine, airband, abalog tv audio, and others. since you cant transmit, you might as well have a badass receiver. it runs on 2 AA batteries almost all day, and is ~200 on amazon right now.
other suggestion: alinco DJ-X11T (has a wider ranging receiver).
any radio questions feel free to ask :) please do not buy baofengs!!! (you should be buying american anyway)
That's what Biden meant by mobilizing trunalimunumaprzur
This is a federal election. I assume POTUS can send in the National Guard and other assets to protect polling places.
Am a poll watcher. VOTE NOW. DO NOT WAIT.
