We need the numbers. First, because it will make it more difficult to come up with enough ‘missing’ ballots. Second, we need to end the ‘muh popular vote’, ‘end the electoral college’ narrative. It doesn’t matter if you live in the deepest blue county where you know your vote won’t matter to the brightest red county where you think your vote won’t be necessary.
