The whole process was a joke. We had to fill out forms requesting a "2nd Mail in Ballot" before we voted in person. The form made no sense and it was unclear how it would be used and whether they would potentially use it to invalidate my in-person vote. The people giving us these forms had no idea what their function would be. To add to that, when I filled out my ballot there was no way to identify who voted or track whether my vote was counted. Every ballot is identical, meaning someone can swap votes and nobody would even notice. We all ended up just dropping our ballots in a slightly different bag than the bag used to drop off mail-in ballots. There was literally no difference between mailing in and voting in person. The whole process is set up for fraud. If you thought CA could flip Red, guess again because this state is fucked.

A kid who grow up in our town, a hell of a football player who joined the army after graduation, was killed that day providing security so those Iraqi goatfuckers could feel safe voting in a new Democratic government that would hate us more that the Ba’ath party did. One of my first redpills
Agreed
There were zero measures in place to prevent fraud, I could have filled out a ballot and claimed I'm you and they would have accepted it. They didn't even look up to see if I was registered to vote.
Ok so do that...
It was such a joke man, I had no idea it could be this bad.
So they're not going into a locked box at all?
Literally, they were just dropped into a fabric envelope box and the mail-ins were kept in a yellow tote bag.
Wow. Thanks for sharing.
Yeesh. Take a minute and relay your experience as well to your House/Senator...or maybe KMac's inbox? She's a trusted pitbull. Sorry man, seems like bullshit. I really still feel like now, more than ever CA might be more red than ever.
Maybe it is different in other places, but I went to the Reagan Presidential Library thinking that if there was a legitimate process, there would be one there. I was wrong and to me that doesn't bode well for the processes in other locations.
God, I hope so. It's very clear to me watching from another state that CA is sick of this bullshit cycle they are trapped in, and can't get out. My state, TX, is actually attracting a lot of carpetbaggers that still want to vote the same when they get here and it freaks me out. Thanks for doing your part! fingers crossed its overwhelmingly TRUMP in 3 days!
Should enact policy preventing people from voting in elections for a few years after moving so they can acclimate to the local culture. I think TX is safe for now, but it is very frustrating seeing stupid people bring their stupid policies with them. Let's hope for the best Nov 3rd!
Regardless, EVERYONE still has to get out there and give it a go. I'm sure Trump isn't relishing the FIVE separate stand up one hour rallies he has to push himself through each day tomorrow and Monday.
Oh yeah, agreed. Still vote, but don't count on it actually getting counted. Other people have had different experiences voting in CA so maybe I just got unlucky. But, this was the Reagan Library so you would think the standards would be pretty high there....
Sure. But there's also a better chance of holding them to account if something goes wrong, as opposed to a shonky drop in ballot box out-the-back. Document everything; have a witness.
I have pictures of the form I was forced to fill out and witnesses.
That's why AZ requires signature authentication which is checked when you vote in person in conjunction with your voter ID (and picture ID, and in elections when polling places are linked to zip codes, a bill or other proof of residency) as well as on file for checking with early ballots either mailed or dropped off. You can't get a ballot unless you're registered and on file. Period.
Simi represent.
Bro I am straight up not having a good time .gif
I waited 4 hours to vote only to find out the process is no better than mail-ins. Fuck.
That would give me such a hard on.
And OP, now you know why every tax hike Proposition on the ballot will pass by a “narrow margin”. Just watch
Ok, thanks!
Everyone? This guy said not to vote in California. Not worth it. 10,000,000,000 (or some such number) of fraudulent ballots
Happy now?
