Was Joe Biden trying to normalize pedophila? With his "8 year olds can decide to transition" comments? If a 8 year old can "consent" to surgery or hormones to change their gender what else can they consent to?

If 8 year olds can consent to change their own gender according to Joe Biden if they can "decide that", what else can they decide?

I thought an 8 year old has no ability to consent to life altering decisions because they DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE CONSEQUENCES.

Why would Joe say otherwise and push so hard to have 8 year olds be able to make such decisions? Why is this 78 year old man so aggressive about giving 8 year old girls ability to be able to consent to life altering decisions.
