Better than this was the Pede who posted here on Sunday Gunday a couple a weeks ago the video & pictures of him dropping a huge Wild Hog at over 1200 yards, with a gun he had built himself that out performed the .338 Lapua Magnum.
Pretty sure the Mil Spec scope he used alone would be worth more than my most expensive gun & he used a whole bunch of top tier stuff to measure distance ,wind etc before the shot.
The video was wild, you could see the bullet vapor trail arcing across the valley & it took well over a second to reach the Hog & smoke it ,they had a kid who hiked up the mountain with them & his face after the shot was a classic, the guy had served in Afghanistan as a Designated Marksman .These are the silent majority guys we have on our side, that perform at elite levels on their week ends, every other week of the year.
That rifle is what scares the shit out of commies. You don't learn those skills or mod your rifle with that level of accuracy and proficiency without thousands of hours of expertise. Just like "white death" Simo Häyhä, you might finally put him out of action but losing hundreds to get 1 guy is insanely demoralizing.
Just about to go to bed sorry up early tomorrow, going to look at a new Truck, but it can only be a couple of Sunday Gundays back at most ,with everything going on it is hard to remember exactly.
There was a picture of the HUGE Wild Hog on the front page he got, so looking for that may be easier , if you search Sunday Gundays you will find it .
Make sure you post a link if you find it ,l would not mind watching the video again
PS- Here it annoyed me so l found the Wild Hog pic post, there is a separate one on the details on the Rifle people were asking him to post-
