Workplace shortages are being caused by your demoralized population choosing to give up rather than contribute in what is becoming an increasing futile endeavor.
Funny thing, how exactly can a government claim a workforce shortage when there are continuing numbers of businesses still closed, permanently closed, operating at a minimal capacity or considered non-essential? When, not if, Canada finally loses what is left of the auto industry, the collapse will be catastrophic. Would love to know exactly what 'economy' they plan to grow and how. Trust me, there's no President Trump in this country and no magic wand but we do have plenty of smoke and mirrors.
Yup... Met a girl from BC. She was a nice person and fairly smart but had TDS bad and bought the entire liberal agenda hook, line and sinker. Canadians are just one step ahead of us on the progressive road to utopia.... They've created a system that is designed to demoralize and enslave people. The powers that be want to dilute people's wages and increase their voting rosters with people who are more easily controlled.
Here in the US, "Good government" is an oxymoron. We are very suspicious of all of it (maybe too much sometimes). Still, we are realizing that we've let too much go unattended and it's time to reorder some things. Hopefully, Trump can help, but the real changes need to happen at the kitchen table. People need to understand the issues that we face are deeper than the government. We need to restore our faith in the future and each other.
I am American but married into an entirely Canadian family. The TDS is prevalent and odorous but seemingly tamped down in my presence. We have a loving relationship and politics are never mentioned, out of deference to me I believe, as I have never hidden my political ideology. Every book that comes out praising the Obamas, etc is on their bookshelf snuggled in with every book defamatory or negative toward President Trump. They were nice enough to put their Biden yard sign in the garage when I was there for Thanksgiving. A majority of Canadians have a great belief that they should have determinative input on all things politically American. It is crazy and unless you've lived it, I cannot even begin to describe the experience. My husband never really said much other than that George Bush was an idiot and he thought Trump was all show. I've been patient and it has paid off. One day I suggested that he should check out James Woods on Twitter for the humor. Next thing I know, he's following Ben Shapiro (yeah, yeah), Crowder and any other number of random red pill dropping accounts. Anyway, Canada is possibly too far over the precipice to stop the inevitable crash. Although I've never said it aloud to any of them because I do love them, it never leaves my mind that my vote will always defeat their opinions.
That's awesome. It seems such a shame that so many otherwise super nice people are being herded into a cult-like way of thinking about politics. BTW, my friend has not contacted me again since our conversation about the president. I was fairly unreserved about my political opinions and let her know that she didn't need to vote here in the US. lol. Oh well.
You would think that but Trudeau survived a confidence vote in the just the past several weeks. The political system is every bit as dysfunctional, if not more so, here as in the US. Canada is a far, far more liberal country and the chosen leader is SJW extraordinaire. The majority of Canadians, in my experience, would feel righteous dying at the hand of a radicalized refugee while still thrusting the welcome sign in the air.
Canadian here. Our unemployment is highest among the G20. We don't have workforce shortages other than a few specialized jobs.
Our medical system worked before mass immigration. It also worked before socialized medicine. I think now it will probably fail. 4 hour waits at the ER are standard. I have had terrible immigrant doctors but they are being imported en masse too rather than train more Canadians.
Trudeau did what Biden did to Ukraine's Prosecutor General to our own Attorney General. We are fucked.
Toronto votes for Trudeau no matter what same as some other big cities. He is importing millions of voters to pander to. We are fucked.
Building a wall isn't the answer but I agree we are a growing security threat to the USA. Our PM welcomes ISIS fighters as a "voice for change" and says if you kill them they win.
...
What matters to Canada and the rest of the world is Trump keeping China in check and the media in check- which is the same thing.
We need to relocate all of our illegal immigration detention facilities to a bunch of places one mile from our Northern border. And leave the doors unlocked and only post guards on the road on the south side.
Like the US, most of Canada is conservative and not down with the radical leftist faggotry popular in the large cities. I think the cheaper and far better option is to work at subverting their most conservative provinces and have them secede from Canada and join the US as new states until all of Canada has merged with the US.
Ya I say once we build the southern wall. We start with the north. Probably need to improve border efficiency with new technology though. That's a lot of border.
Another post about Canadian decline, with ZERO mention of the impending gun ban. That's fine, ignore an ostensible democracy removing something we all believe to be a human right, just be ready for the same to happen when they come for our guns next!!!

May not be necessary. This socialist clown and his cronies just need to be voted out.
The day we give our faith to other countries for our bidding is the day we lose any control over our own.
Canada can be cucked for generations to come, but we can't let their internal politics bring any weight to ours.

Annex Canada when?
