It's just like I said. Though he occasionally tweets things I'd prefer he not, I've been so impressed by the way Donald Trump has governed that I was compelled to vote for him this time around. Of the close family members who I know what their votes were, I know only 1 voted Trump last time and this time 11 (including me) are voting Trump this time. I don't even know someone by acquaintance that is claiming to flip the other way. I talked to one Biden supporter and after they couldn't tell me why they supported Biden and my telling them some pretty good reasons not to vote for him, they decided to abstain from voting at all.

If you, or someone you know, switched parties from 2016 to 2020, let's hear about it!

edit- Just wanted to add that I live in one of the bluest states in the country where it's assumed that 90% of people vote democrat, which just makes the fact that I know more people voting Trump than Biden more impressive.

Voted for Clinton in 2016. The media's dishonest coverage of Charlottesville kicked off my redpilling. Now I'm about as MAGA as it gets. I can not wait to vote for Trump on Tuesday.

Fun fact about Charlottesville. Jason Kessler (quite ironic a jewish (Ashkenazi) origins last name for a supposed nazi), was an Obama supporter, Occupy movement activist (hard leftists), who claimed to be a professional provocateur, Jewish ex-gf described him as a very liberal, strict vegetarian, atheist and embraced friends of different ethnicities, had African roomate for many years and even separated from his ex-gf for her not being liberal enough somehow became an alt-right nazi and went on to create a Wikipedia page with a MAGA hat on and organized the Charlottesville rally.........I find something very fishy about it.

I voted for Bernie and then Green in 2016. Five of us didn't vote for Trump or Hillary in 2016 but we voted straight Republican down the ballot this year! We are in dark blue territory. I work with big time Unions and most of the workers seem to he voting for Trump. We shall see.

Yeah, I also voted Bernie in the primaries. I'm in a dark blue state where only dems win, and I really wanted an anti-establishment candidate. Dems couldn't do it, so I left them aside. Why can't they see we just want the establishment hacks out of office??

Because Dems and RINOs are actually no different - all they crave is power. Easiest way to get it is to promise free stuff and then never deliver. Trump on the other hand didn't promise free stuff but promised opportunities and things like the wall, Middle East peace, no wars, booming economy etc and has delivered.

Yes. This. In 2016 I assumed he was just a bunch of hot air that wouldn't deliver on anything, but he proved me wrong. Economy? Booming. Wars? Ended. Taxes? Lowered.

I'm so happy with his presidency. All the liberals I've known my whole life that told me they were sick of all the wars but refuse to vote for the first president to ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING ABOUT THEM are such hypocrites.

Same, voted 3rd party last election. Was a dem but couldn’t stomach Hillary. Now I’ll be voting straight red down the ticket in CA. #Trump2020

Voted independent in 2016, going straight red this year, convinced my brother to do the same.

Yeah, I'm also in a blue state and I've noticed a huge shift. In the last election I barely knew anyone voting Trump, this time it's the opposite.

I wish I could get my dad to change his vote.

I didn't vote in 2016 because I was trying to stay away from politics and I live in California anyway. I was happy Trump won though and after he won I did research and became a huge fan. My girlfriend voted Hillary last time because she was gullible and didn't know better, but I redpilled her and she voted for Trump this year. My siblings and other family members didn't vote but are now voting for Trump, some with the help of my redpilling of course. I've never heard of a real person who was a Trump supporter and isn't now. I think the polls are missing the big picture.

I’m still a registered Dem. I haven’t left the party, the party left me. I voted for Trump in 2016 — my first vote for a Republican ever. But this year, I damn made sure I voted for Trump and for every single Republican in every downticket race to send a message in my (probably still) blue state. And I know there are more people like me. But I won’t be switching parties. It’s probably safer to stay a registered Dem to have my vote count in my cucked state. But also I want today’s insane Democrats to wonder why they suddenly can’t count on at least a 1/3rd of Dem voters at the ballot box.

That makes sense. In some states you have to register dem to vote in the primaries, and if you're in a blue state you don't get a say in the candidates if you don't vote in the primaries.

edit- actually I just realized I must still be registered as a dem too! That's hilarious.

Ha! Not surprised my experience isn't unique!
