1st Baptist in Dallas is Robert Jeffers church. Tony Evans is another excellent preacher, and both do an amazing job of presenting the gospel. Ed Young is responsible for lighting a passion for Jesus in my house, he's an excellent teacher.

Hope this helps, and I'm due the Lord will lead you to a place where He can use you.

Most if not all Calvary chapels are great churches. They teach the Bible chapter by chapter and verse by verse, so you get a full understanding of what God’s word is saying. I’m not putting down topical preaching, but learning the Bible chapter by chapter verse by verse gave me a very firm foundation, and help me through a time in my life when I was very angry at God. Assurance is key!

Look up "Bear Independent" on YouTube. He reads his bible and talks about it on videos every Saturday and Sunday. Very Christian and a military combat veteran. Probably the most Christian patriot I know of on YouTube. It's a good place to start but more of a bible study. Pretty easy to digest too.

His other videos are on prepping and homesteading, always with a Christian slant.

This weeks video is Judges 14, 15, and 16.

Do you have a choice of any particular denomination, or is your main concern avoiding "wokeness"...?

I was baptized as a Catholic but my familie has never been to church with me or raised me on it. Euro liberals in kool aid you know. I think an independent knowledgeable mind would be a good start. Tnx

I'm sure you will. Being part of an active Christian body makes a huge difference. One day we'll talk and laugh about this conversation. I look forward to our meeting brother, God speed.
