So not only did I vote no, I spread the word for others to vote no. Then I looked up the justice on the Illinois supreme court and found that if I vote no on the state supreme court justice, Illinois could have a republican majority on the supreme court, something we need to bring that god damn legislature and speaker of the general assembly and criminal Mike Madigan to heel. Would be nice to have a republican legislature, but I won't hold my breath.
I've been doing the same for my state, county, and local elections. Sometimes it's hard to pin down candidates, and get their statements and positions, but I got it done this year, like every election.
