I do. We promote fast track trade schools that bypass a four year traditional colleges but give the same credentials for a fraction of the cost and time investment. (See coding bootcamps)

Bankrupt them out of existence.

This. There is so much time wasted on redundant crap in your typical 4 year college degree. You could probably have condensed everything that was actually relevant to my profession into 3 semesters of intense study. It’s a colossal waste of time and money and all they do with it is to try and indoctrinate young adults while promoting immoral behavior.

Coding bootcamps are garbage. I absolutely would not use them as a model.

They don't all suck. I know a few people pulling six figures after 4 months of class.

If you get enough bright minds together.. it has the potential to be the future.

Do you really need 4 years of civilization to be a lawyer?

Did I need to take 3 semesters of theory math?

Cutting costs in exchange for quality education seems like win-win. Like antifa its just an idea.

You can get a job, sure. But it's going to severely hurt your career path. Coding bootcamps will teach you how to code, but they won't teach you the underlying fundamentals of computer science, which are much more important for future growth. I can teach an AI to code some basic software these days, but implementing complex systems requires more than knowing how to make Java compile.

Here's the thing though. Not every one needs to a coding super genius. If they want to learn more, they can go back to a school and learn more.

Sometimes companies don't need a building full of super smart programmers that can do anything you can imagine. Most of the time what they need is someone just smart enough to maintain the code and do basic bug fixing. Not everyone has to be at the top. Not everyone has the mental capability or even desire to be at the top. Plenty of people will be content enough with a coding boot camp and plenty of employers will be ok with someone whose background is just a coding boot camp.
