Teddy's is difficult which is why they became conflated, it's RUZS an aspirated Z sound. Uh like a valley girl saying uhhh, again aspirated, and then Vulht like "vault" but w the U in mull instead
Username checksout, it's 2 days from Election Day and you think winning is shitting on President Ike? There were many other priorities during Ikes years, including keeping The FED in check after FDR's years of printing; keeping Europe from starving (you might look up how long it was until the UK was able to end it's food rationing put in place during WW2); rebuilding US domestically; and while yes Ike had all the tools at his disposal to leapfrong the US into Space, he felt he (and the US) shouldn't be the ones to first "weaponize space" but the truth is there were a great many other budget and administrative priorities which were far greater in urgency and pressing. Do you want an interstate highways system which pays great economic dividends, or go to space earlier which doesn't? FYI still no economic reason to go to Mars today, do you think earth doesn't have iron ore? Not saying we can't go, but it's the same reason why your town or city doesn't disband the police, fire, road paving, etc to build a 1000' tall statue to Mars.
More winning, less shitting on great Republicans' legacies, the Commies/Dems and CRT do enough of that.
BTW this is the umpteenth time, I've seen this topic come up, so somewhere is putting this as narrative out there (usually from purple pill dispensers).
How about USSR-crushing Reagan? How bout the baddest mother fucker in the 20th century white house that won a Cold War against an Evil Empire? Who cut taxes and reduced regulations.
Especially since the Soviets mixed in a bunch of commie infiltrators with those illegals.
But I'll forgive him that bc he probably did not expect Americans to fall for any subversive communist BS so easily & trusted us to keep the American spirit strong. That is a large part Americans' faults for dropping the ball & not paying enough attention to their kids' educations or anything not on TV.
I’m proud to have served during his years. Some of my work (recon) was sent directly to his desk when we found out the Soviets were trying to cheat on the START III treaty.
Look at the job market before and after Reagan. I never understood why he's lauded as though he were some conservative hero. He was a brilliant speaker, and did some things right. Most of what happened on his watch he may have had no control over, just like every POTUS.
I think Reagan was way better than the deep state Bush-Clinton mob but i think in reality he isn't even close to Trump in greatness. The USSR collapsed because the system just didn't work not because Reagan said tear down that wall. Thats just talking head hero making giving him way too much credit for something that was inevitable. Also Reagan's banking deregulations have been a disaster and paved the way for further deregulation that helped create the 2008 economic collapse.
This crypto-liberal revisionist history is nonsense. Once Reagan turned up the heat on Russia they started to fail,
bargaining with a Democratic Congress who later reneged on their promise to enforce our border. Clintoon put people in like Cuomo who started making banks lend to any POC with a pulse. Guess you had to have been there
These are valid criticisms of that era, I just don't think they should be aimed solely at Reagan. The man was a lone populist who fought against red hollywood nearly all on his own and who climbed to the gop nomination when they definitely didn't want him - much like Trump.
In a lot of ways, Reagan was isolated against the bureaucratic / media / pop culture complex much like President Trump has been. I believe he did the best he could given the circumstances he faced. Reagan was easily, easily the best president I've had in my lifetime until Trump.
Perfect post.
So unfair to blame him for the illegals thing. His mistake was believing a handshake with dems meant something. Today we know it doesn't.
Best POTUS in living memory until DJT, certainly. Doesn't change what went wrong on his watch. Before him, you could get an entry level job out of HS and if you worked your ass off along with everybody else and the company endured, you could reasonably expect to be promoted, afford a car, get married, buy a house, and put your kids through College.
By the time Reagan was out of Office it was "this company exists to make profit for our shareholders." Meaning the worker is expendable.
Joe Biden was in Office throughout this entire transition.
Reagan was a great, but he had the massive handicap of bush as his VP, and he didn’t have the same kind of access to information from outside the swamp that trump has so he was easier for them to control. A man can only work with the tools he has been given.
And if you do end up sober, sane, and homeless, there's no help for you. The insane and addicted have utterly consumed the entirety of the safety net. Here's your carbohydrates, prayers, and a cot as far away from employment as possible. And if you leave early to go to work you are permanently banned from the shelter. The system is designed to get you begging for cash and buying hard drugs
Lets be fair. Reagan was pushing for states rights and responsibility.
1981 President Reagan repeals Carter's legislation with the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act. This pushes the responsibility of mentally ill patients back to the states. The legislation creates block grants for the states, but federal spending on mental illness declines
It's appalling that Bill Clinton gets credit for what Gingrich's House actually accomplished. All of the financial success of that time was directly due to Gingrich.
Congress controls the purse strings. Bill Clinton chose not to be the President of no, and to actually govern. He hated everything Congress came up with, and gets credit for the most fiscally responsible Congress in living memory.
That was the first election I even registered for. It was Rush who got me paying attention.
And the last GHWB/1st 2 Clinton years sucked with a continued recession, with only real focus on Hillary trying to ram her medical care vision down our gullet-that’s
how the 94 GOP win occurred.
(only upside was being able to buy my house
40% off 86 price after the 92 election thanks to no confidence)
Recently read up on Teddy a bit, but not extensively.
I wonder if I would have sympathized with some of his progressive ideas at the time.
This was the time Upton Sinclair wrote "The Jungle" and all that. Workers were being treated like shit.
In retrospect, the Progressive Party turned quasi-communist and fizzled out, and TR split the vote and got us the virtual Anti-Christ Woodrow Wilson, so no, I don't support what he did, but at the time maybe I would have? Idk
Regulation and safety will always be used as a means to dominate and control. No exceptions.
With the borax example, yes, they don't put that chemical in sausages due to regulations, yet there are still chemicals in our foods that cause significant longterm health problems, but the FDA is fine with that.
What the unregulated market has actually done to ensure food safety is create voluntary organic certifications. Consumers then pay more for certified foods or roll the dice with cheaper products.
In the end, it boils down to trust between consumer and producer. All regulation does is capture that trust, and once captured it is always abused.
I remember that he did it because the left had agreed to control immigration if he did, and they didn't... they lied. The Contra thing wasn't a win either
Did not, get your facts straight. The 1986 Amnesty was an almost 50/50 split Dem/Rep. It wasn't an automatic citizenship, people still had to apply, not everyone eligible did. Enough of this crap derailments. 2 days More winning.
It was passed under Truman because Eisenhower was running as a Republican. It was why Democrats joined in to pass the Amendment. Republicans feared another Roosevelt and Democrats wanted it passed quickly because they feared Eisenhower. They wanted it passed before Eisenhower became President and would have been exempt.
Please note the large number of states that didn't pass the Amendment until 1951, 4 years after passing Congress.
if he hated blacks so much why is it that when slaver Nathaniel Gordon was up for execution and his supporters asked for a pardon from Lincoln and Lincoln replied:
I believe I am kindly enough in nature, and can be moved to pity and to pardon the perpetrator of almost the worst crime that the mind of man can conceive or the arm of man can execute; but any man, who, for paltry gain and stimulated only by avarice, can rob Africa of her children to sell into interminable bondage, I never will pardon.
"It is also unsatisfactory to some that the elective franchise is not given to the colored man. I would myself prefer that it were now conferred on the very intelligent, and on those who serve our cause as soldiers."
If you read the books, Craig's portrayal is the most book-accurate. He's like a shark. Humorless and dispassionate, calculating but not hateful. What made Connery so great is that he took the character and made it his own. It didn't match the books, but that's okay, because he's Sean Fucking Connery.
I like Craig as Bond and think he's done a fine job with the character to this point. I can no longer take him or the series seriously as entertainment anymore, though, thanks to Craig and the series going full woketard.
I think the wokeness is bad, but I feel the most annoying thing is how bond is now a Marvel superhero.
Connery, Moore, Brosnan etc would do extrasordinary stuff, but nothing like Craig. I liked Casino Royale a bit because it seemed to bring the series back down to earth a little, but it has gone off the rails In QoS onward, and I can’t enjoy any Craig bond.
Some of my (ever changing) top five include From Russia With Love and Goldfinger.
Okay, you've sucked me into this. I could talk and debate Bond all day, lol. I agree with your assessment of Dalton, and I'd probably put him as the #2 closest adaptation of the literary Bond. The only problem with Dalton (and this was the assessment of the Broccoli's too) is that he was just too angry. The literary Bond was cold, efficient, calculating, and very deadly. He was most at home when he was hunting his target. But he was never angry about events. Dalton always seemed to be angry about everything. I think that Pierce Brosnan would have made the perfect Bond, if he'd been given some decent scripts.
But as someone else commented, The literary Bond is not the Bond of film, they truly are two distinct characters, and Connery truly is the best Bond on film. But me being the nerd that I am, I like my literary Bond and have a hard time letting it go.
The only movie I can't watch are Moonraker. It's just too cringe. If you're looking for good, similar books though, check out the Ryan Drake series of books by Will Jordan. They're serial action thriller novels in the same vein. The author posts film critiques on YouTube under the name "The Critical Drinker"
He's very dry. When M asks him if he can remain emotionally detached in Casino Royale. Or when he says he needs help finding the stationary to Gemma Arterton's character in Quantum of Solace. Funny moments if you appreciate dry humor (which I do).
However I fear in "No Time To Die" He's going to be a beta cuck subservient to a black female 007.
I like Craig’s Bond. ‘Casino Royale’ was a terrific movie and probably my second favorite Bond movie.
I also loved Roger Moore, ‘For Your Eyes Only’ is probably my third favorite. But Sean Connery was King. ‘From Russia With Love’ will always be my favorite Bond movie.
Its interesting that Craig was hired because they wanted a rugged, tough Bond. Not the classic smooth gentleman. Now he's exiting at a time when they want diversity or femininity pushed into the role. Clown world.
Ok so I am a big James Bond fan. I love Sean, but Roger Moore was my generation Bond. He was the funny and bizarre Bond circa. But then later I have to say...Pierce Brosnan was mighty fine...:) I could never get into the Daniel Craig circa...He was just too serious. Bond always had a sense of humor and they took that away.
Pierce Brosnan will always be what I think of when I hear the name James Bond because of the Golden Eye game on N64. Me and my friends would play that every weekend back in the late 90’s.
You should look up how to use emulators. You can pretty easily play an archive of every single N64 game on your computer for just a couple gigabytes of storage.
They're making 007 a woman now I believe right? after Craig. They should just start a new agent, I have nothing against women but it's so weird to adjust a franchise that has been based on a smooth dude having sex with the hottest ladies around , to suddenly be a female agent. Call her 008 or whatever and no one cares, but using the same name for someone with so much history is a bit ridiculous
They're giving the codename/number to a woman. 007 agent will now be a black woman. People are saying it doesn't matter, completely forgetting the massive merchandising that is associated with 007. They're going to alienate millions of people with this.
Too bad for them that we have access to the old James Bond films, the good ones. We, the true fans of James Bond and haters of this woke BS, should be showing the younger generation of the glories of the older James Bond films, to immunize them from the woke monstrosity.
Bonds been off enjoying retirement after shooting down blofelds chopper (with his Walther no less!) and driving off into the sunset with his French girlfriend in his restored DB5.
He comes back in this new movie to find that the position of 007 has been filled by someone new.
Same. I think Dalton actually played a good bond, but his source material sucked, and his movies are very dated.
I can still watch Dr. No, or Goldfimger, and despite all the 50s/60s artifacts, focus on the story, but if I watch a Dalton bond all I hear is a “BEEEEP WARNING YOU ARE WATCHING A 1980s film. BWOOOOP 1980s! 1980s!” It’s distracting and I never feel all the way in. I don’t know how to describe it lol
Holy shit Sean was actually the first Bond I knew he was a Bond, just didn't realize it was the first since he's been around for so long. Yea the first badass in action history being on your side is pretty amazing. RIP.
When have leftards been shown to have any particular self-awareness at how much of a clown show they look like outside of their own little echo chambers?
agree. as someone of scotch-irish heritage i always imagined the highlands to be a place of independence and rebellion. right now it seems to be a place of cuckoldry. it's like i've said many times. i think most of the best men left the isles and came to america. that's why we have all the brass balls now.
I think the same thing happened to Scandinavia. All the brave big dick swinging vikings left to go conquering, and all that was left was the little bitches too scared to go on a boat, to pass on their genes
What it is - the highlands is very sparsely populated and the people there are of different character to the lowlands and the border regions where most of Scotland's population lives. Life in the highlands is hard. A lot of men go off to work in the oil industry for a few weeks at a time in the North Sea. A lot of people are into "crofting" which is small hold farming. People depend on part time seasonal work in the summer with tourism. It is a little more independent natured.
You get a lot more anti-English sentiment down in the south around the borders and in Glasgow and Edinburgh than when you go up to the more remote and sparsely populated areas of the highlands. Many people up there depend on English tourists to make a living.
Ever notice how all the truly great movie stars and sportspeople who are true gentlemen, like Sean Connery and Jack Nicklaus, are good friends with President Trump and respect him, whereas the modern vapid talentless D-list celebrities hate him?
I glanced few on top ... TDS is quite mental illness have to say,not even worst mental patients in past have gotten into as inhumane demon level as TDS patients get to
I did it for you. It is pretty much just the typical off topic trump reeeeeeee alongside some other posts complaining about Trump making it about himself
There used to be a clip of him on a chat show saying the most beautiful word in the English language was ‘pussy’; pronounced ‘pooo-saaaay’. I hope a hater finds it, I’ve been looking for it.
I love how Trump makes minor mistakes when he tweets, it's just like some random dude texting! Haha, I love how liberals make fun of him for it too, claiming he's stupid. As if any texting conversation isn't riddled with slang and misspellings. And haters fail to consider how the imperfections are proof it's always a genuine thought, and not some crap being produced by a media team. ONCE AGAIN... THE APPEAL IS LOST ON NON-THINKING POSER ROBOTS... AS THEY DEEM US UNEDUCATED. NO SENSE OF NUANCE. SHAME!!!!
I remember watching all the classics with my late Pop. On behalf of many many many who want or don’t have time or or want to see this thread, we salute Sean Connery.
Bro, this insane. I was literally just having a dream about The Last Crusade and remembering the scene where he slaps Indy for cursing the Lord's name. RIP, Sean. Idk what your politics were but I hope you were based.
Used to bond (wow, no pun intended but I wish I'd thought of it) with my dad over these movies back when I was a kid in the 80's. He'd read the books and loved watching the movies with me.
Nobody came close to Connery when it came to 007. I'll always think of my father when I think of him.
Sean Connery was the only real 007
Don't forget about Ronald Reagan and Teddy Roosevelt.
Roosevelt was an awesome military man but he was in many ways a Progressive cuck
Agree on Reagan
Roosevelt’s instructions to General Eisenhower on how to conduct the war was “Engage and Defeat the Enemy “
Different Roosevelt....
My bad. Franklin D. Roosevelt. Missed the above reference.
FDR pronounced his name Rose-UH-vehlt
Teddy's is difficult which is why they became conflated, it's RUZS an aspirated Z sound. Uh like a valley girl saying uhhh, again aspirated, and then Vulht like "vault" but w the U in mull instead
So, RUZS-uh-vulht
Heck, we’d have far fewer problems today if Patton had been allowed to liberate China from the commies.
We defeated the wrong enemy.
You mean MacArthur? Or if Patton had never died after war, because I'd agree to both of those.
Username checksout, it's 2 days from Election Day and you think winning is shitting on President Ike? gun banning Reagan or amnesty Reagan? What about deep state CIA Reagan?
How about USSR-crushing Reagan? How bout the baddest mother fucker in the 20th century white house that won a Cold War against an Evil Empire? Who cut taxes and reduced regulations.
Yawn. USSR was more happy about us letting in fucktons of illegals. They play the long game.
We’re all family here, it’s OK to disagree
Especially since the Soviets mixed in a bunch of commie infiltrators with those illegals.
But I'll forgive him that bc he probably did not expect Americans to fall for any subversive communist BS so easily & trusted us to keep the American spirit strong. That is a large part Americans' faults for dropping the ball & not paying enough attention to their kids' educations or anything not on TV.
They don't exist anymore. Shit job of playing the long game.
well they went tits up in 89, so....
I’m proud to have served during his years. Some of my work (recon) was sent directly to his desk when we found out the Soviets were trying to cheat on the START III treaty.
USSR was already on the economic skids from decades of Cold War overspending.
And if you take a good hard look at Reagan, he had an awesome conservative candy coating, but some very bad things started under his watch.
Automatic weapon ban, ended federal funding of mental institutions, allowed the amnesty for illegals trend to start.
However, I don't blame him. And I think he intended to best. But he was just swimming with sharks and he had no idea.
You are exactly right. Reagan was so honest personally, that he didn't suspect others of being dishonest. He was too trusting.
Look at the job market before and after Reagan. I never understood why he's lauded as though he were some conservative hero. He was a brilliant speaker, and did some things right. Most of what happened on his watch he may have had no control over, just like every POTUS.

Both Reagan and Margret Thatcher here in the UK failed in their key objective which was to shrink the size of the state. It is kind a tragedy really.
Reagan was a great, but he had the massive handicap of bush as his VP, and he didn’t have the same kind of access to information from outside the swamp that trump has so he was easier for them to control. A man can only work with the tools he has been given.
Well said.
He also deregulated psychiatric wards/hospitals. That’s why homelessness is rampant and drug use has skyrocketed since the 80s.
And if you do end up sober, sane, and homeless, there's no help for you. The insane and addicted have utterly consumed the entirety of the safety net. Painful lessons that Democrats can't be trusted and "going along to get along" ends in failure and misery. America First. America First ONLY.

Teddy wasn't a communist.
Agreed. I dont eat sausage either.
Reagan gave amnesty to millions.
Please read the thread. There's enough good discussion to broaden your perspective on this.
I remember that he did it because the left had agreed to control immigration if he did, and they didn't... they lied. The Contra thing wasn't a win either
For the Contras, sure
Yeah they agreed to fund a wall. The Iran contra affair may have occurred without his knowledge?
Progressive in turn of the 20th century terms.
Energy does contribute to curvature, it is true!
👆This guy dot wins.
Reagan's blanket amnesty for illegals really set back the US
Closing the institutions was another big deal.
Those psychos now run the institutions. He helped California become cucked..
I’ll take Teddy over Ronnie 8 days a week
You do now Teddy was a cuck. A pro American cuck, but a cuck.
No the super hero on my under-roos is better than yours!!
Did not, get your facts straight. The 1986 Amnesty was an almost 50/50 split Dem/Rep. It wasn't an automatic citizenship, people still had to apply, not everyone eligible did. Enough of this crap derailments. 2 days More winning.
Not Regan’s fault. He made a deal with the Dems and they reneged LIKE THEY ALWAYS DO
Coolidge
Yes Coolidge, and Eisenhower too.
The popularity of Eisenhower was the reason term limits for the President was passed.
Is that what they are teaching in the schools these days?
No. they don't teach American History anymore. Just fairy Tails.
Spelling is correct.
Who downvoted this ? Nancy Pelosi?
Dunno, but David Rothschild is obsessing on that thread. How 'bout 'y'all go show him some MAGA?
Rab nicon
Did you say Abe Lincoln?
if he hated blacks so much why is it that when slaver Nathaniel Gordon was up for execution and his supporters asked for a pardon from Lincoln and Lincoln replied: I believe I am kindly enough in nature, and can be moved to pity and to pardon the perpetrator of almost the worst crime that the mind of man can conceive or the arm of man can execute; but any man, who, for paltry gain and stimulated only by avarice, can rob Africa of her children to sell into interminable bondage, I never will pardon.
"It is also unsatisfactory to some that the elective franchise is not given to the colored man. I would myself prefer that it were now conferred on the very intelligent, and on those who serve our cause as soldiers."
whats wrong with that? he said he approved of smart blacks and ones who served getting to vote.
Where is that quote from?
The last speech he ever made.
Username doesn't check out.
Hold your horses there li'l filly, Roger Moore was a fine 007, as was Dalton. 007 didn't turn to pure unforgivable shit until Daniel Craig.
The problem with Craig is that his version of Bond is humorless. Bond has a very humorous side, which they eliminated with Craig.
If you read the books, Craig's portrayal is the most book-accurate. He's like a shark. Humorless and dispassionate, calculating but not hateful. Fuck 'em.
100% I've read all the books, and own all the movies. I am a Bond fan for sure. But I won't go see this new movie. It's just woke garbage.
Wait, the convo has been about nearly every President since Lincoln. And you shift to addressing the OP?!?
How dare you! I love this place :)
Connery apparently respected authors though as he was once overheard talking to a woman reporter in a Glasgow pub exclaiming....
"THE PEN IS MAGNIFICENT"
It's "The pen is mightier!"
SUCK IT TREBECK
That's not what your MOTHER said last night, Trebek!
LOL, thanks. I never can remember that line correctly. Funny skit though.
Okay, you've sucked me into this. I could talk and debate Bond all day, lol. I agree with your assessment of Dalton, and I'd probably put him as the #2 closest adaptation of the literary Bond. MAGA, fellow pede.
James Bond became what it is(/was) not from the books, though.
Yeup. Pretty sure James was supposed to be blonde, too. But, that's the thing. Craig's portrayal lacks souI.
He isn't humorless.
He's very dry. When M asks him if he can remain emotionally detached in Casino Royale. Or when he says he needs help finding the stationary to Gemma Arterton's character in Quantum of Solace. Funny moments if you appreciate dry humor (which I do).

So I'm pretty much done with Bond now.
Once a franchise goes sjw, its curtains for me.
Go woke, go broke. The name's cuck. Beta Cuck.
I also love that they got the Queen to agree to act in a James Bond skit for charity.
I really liked Casino Royale as a novel, and they did a great job bringing it to the screen. Best novel-to-movie Bond movie they've made.

Its interesting that Craig was hired because they wanted a rugged, tough Bond. Not the classic smooth gentleman. Now he's exiting at a time when they want diversity or femininity pushed into the role. Clown world.
Yes..
Just the thought of that game fills me with nostalgia. I really need to find my old N64!
You should look up how to use emulators. You can pretty easily play an archive of every single N64 game on your computer for just a couple gigabytes of storage.
Hmmm, I should do that! Lots of N64 games I'd love to see again, reminds me of simpler times lol. Thanks bud I'll check it out.
RetroPie
I'll look it up, thank you!!
It really doesnt hold up. Remastered version needed!
I loved him too as a Bond. Funny how each generation had their favorite Bond.
I liked him better as Remington Steele with Stephanie Zimbalist.
Brosnan is my generation bond as well, and he is the image I always think of as bond too.
Still very much like Connery, probably would put most of his movies ahead of Brosnan even.
Same. I have sexy memories when I hear the song The Spy Who Loved Me. I never saw Pierce or Daniel or Lady Bond. Sean and Roger are enough for me
That was one of my favorite JB movies. Great song. Ringo Star's wife in that one.
Oh trust me watch Golden Eye. You will love Pierce. Plus Bond has more fancy toys in his Bond Movies.
Agreed. They shouldn’t make Bond into a woman. That is ridiculous. They can certainly make movies about a female agent set in the same universe.
But if they make Bond into a woman, the longest running franchise in movie history will come to a crashing end.
Its done
They're giving the codename/number to a woman. 007 agent will now be a black woman. People are saying it doesn't matter, completely forgetting the massive merchandising that is associated with 007. They're going to alienate millions of people with this.
They don't care about the franchise or millions of dedicated fans, its only about molding the minds of the new generations
Too bad for them that we have access to the old James Bond films, the good ones. We, the true fans of James Bond and haters of this woke BS, should be showing the younger generation of the glories of the older James Bond films, to immunize them from the woke monstrosity.
But I bet she still manipulates women into the bedroom for sex.
That’s what the character appears to be.
Bonds been off enjoying retirement after shooting down blofelds chopper (with his Walther no less!) and driving off into the sunset with his French girlfriend in his restored DB5.
He comes back in this new movie to find that the position of 007 has been filled by someone new.
And I predict no one will watch it
Who would have guessed .380 ACP would be more powerful than a Stinger missile launcher... That was hilarious
After her it will be a tranny 007. Then a pedophile 007. Etc.
They've tried to make female Bonds, with Angelica and Charlize...I liked Salt but it didn't make franchise numbers.
Female BOnd will win an Oscar and kill the franchise.
So are we all in agreement that Tomorrow Never Dies with the RC drill-bot torpedo was utter rubbish?
Well, it gets points for portraying the media as the true enemy. Points off for portraying China as an innocent victim, though.
Tomorrow Never Dies was a little over the top, but it is awesome in its own way if you don't expect it to be a serious movie.
More appropriate for our time really, a power mad media mogul trying to start a war for the sake of his media empire. Sound familiar?
The first soyboy Bond.
Bond. Soy Bond
000
double-0 zero
Pierce Brosnan. Goldeneye movie and video game. RIP Sean!
My kids to this is very day still rip on me about how much I used to like playing that game.
(Rodger Moore has entered the chat)
Over George Lazenby's corpse no less.
George Lazenby has entered the chat
I like Daniel Craig as James Bond, but Sean Connery will always be the most iconic
Collusion with Scotland yard
Sean Connery will soon be cancelled because of this and his comments about raising your hand to women.
They're not capable of that sort of introspection.
If they were, they wouldn't be leftists.
Holy shit Sean was actually the first Bond I knew he was a Bond, just didn't realize it was the first since he's been around for so long. Yea the first badass in action history being on your side is pretty amazing. RIP.
He was the second Bond. Some other guy did a Bond movie before him.
I'm shocked this is true, Casino Royale was first adapted as a 1 hour TV special in 1954 with Barry Nelson playing Bond.
But it seemed to be Bond in name only, as his character was a CIA agent and was called "Jimmy" by the rest of the cast.
When have leftards been shown to have any particular self-awareness at how much of a clown show they look like outside of their own little echo chambers?
You have no idea how much this displeases me. I would have feed the makers of that decision to the piranha pool or shark tank.
Always get sad thinking of Scotland tbh. Signing the false song of socialism with Sturgeon.
Always hope for a true Scottish person to lead them away from the EU and the UK.
agree. as someone of scotch-irish heritage i always imagined the highlands to be a place of independence and rebellion. right now it seems to be a place of cuckoldry. it's like i've said many times. i think most of the best men left the isles and came to america. that's why we have all the brass balls now.
Some of my ancestors came from there. They left for a reason. It seems not much has changed.
Scot here. I left when I was 18 for the US because it was a shithole. 10 years later and it’s only gotten worse.
sup, cuz!?
They already have a nice wall too 😭
Ever notice how all the truly great movie stars and sportspeople who are true gentlemen, like Sean Connery and Jack Nicklaus, are good friends with President Trump and respect him, whereas the modern vapid talentless D-list celebrities hate him?
Excellent point!
Media: trump said “past” instead of passed
Trump: Misspells "coffee" in a morning tweet.
Media: 25th Amendment!
Biden: Trunalimunumaprzure!
Media: .....
Girlfriend and I have been saying "Covfefe" for so long now that sometimes I forget it's from a Trump tweet
Underwater comment needs saving!

It is the passed perfect tense.
Kek. They won’t be able to help themselves.
All by design. He knows what he's doing and they'll share it to get more coverage.

I thought south park made up swimmingly.¤
MAGA, bitchesh
I wont read the comments, can only imagine what the left are saying here.
I try to avoid Twitter comments like the plague that they are.
You’ll catch second-hand cancer if you do.
Rule #1 of going to twitter... only go there to read POTUS tweets
I like Sean Connery in Zardoz.
A man of culture I see
All downhill after Darby O’Gill for me
There are some crazy stories regarding the production of that movie.
Cold this morning captain.
There used to be a clip of him on a chat show saying the most beautiful word in the English language was ‘pussy’; pronounced ‘pooo-saaaay’. I hope a hater finds it, I’ve been looking for it.
He said 007 REEEEEEEEE
What time does Sean Connery go to Wimbledon?
Tennish.
"Your best? Losers always whine about their best. WINNERS GO HOME AND FUCK THE PROM QUEEN."
Austin Powers is the best Bond /s
GET OUT!
Reeeeeee
THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE. https://youtu.be/cf6SaA-Kdro
People in the comments reeeing that Trump mentioned himself....
Isn't remembrance about sharing memories????
Trump is a true man's man.
“Love may not make the world go round, but I must admit that it makes the ride worthwhile."
“I’m an actor - it’s not brain surgery. If I do my job right, people won’t ask for their money back.”
SHAME!!!!
Great man. His dying wish was for Amy Cohen Barrett and Donald Trump to succeed.
I guess they can finally turn Bond into a black transsexual now.
I remember watching all the classics with my late Pop. On behalf of many many many who want or don’t have time or or want to see this thread, we salute Sean Connery.
You’re the man now, dog!
Punch the keys, for god sake!
Yes, yes!
Passed on. Not past. Lead story on Cable news soon.
Dr. No.
Sean Connery, the very best 007. Jack Lord, the very best Felix.
The first one is still my favorite, just because of those two.
They don’t make actors like Sean Connery anymore.
"What is your mother for 500 Trebek"
Am I the only one who hears anything Sean Connery-related in Sean Connery's voice?
Bro, this insane. I was literally just having a dream about The Last Crusade and remembering the scene where he slaps Indy for cursing the Lord's name. RIP, Sean. Idk what your politics were but I hope you were based.
Used to bond (wow, no pun intended but I wish I'd thought of it) with my dad over these movies back when I was a kid in the 80's. He'd read the books and loved watching the movies with me.
Nobody came close to Connery when it came to 007. I'll always think of my father when I think of him.
He was awesome in Entrapment.
I'm legit surprised the MSM was able to resist saying Connery died of COVID and also Orange Man Bad.
He will never be replaced. I enjoyed him even in films that didn't do well. Like First Knight.
Let the REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEing commence!
Roger Moore in real life would've kicked the Bond girl to the curb to suck off the villain.
They're going to give GEOTUS shit over his phones' auto- correct spelling "passed" incorrectly because they have nothing else. Watch.
Africa will never let him die.
RIP Sean. "You are now shitting at a 45 degree angle."
Batman, James Bond, or Donald Trump?
He’s going to get crucified for misspelling “passed”.
This. He should have them checked before posting.
“007” = tubalcain (two ball, cane)
The best Bond!
