I walked into mass today and they were having it inside for the first time in a while, and I was shocked. Basically 80 percent of seats blocked off and masks mandatory the whole time. Since I was there a lone I was basically blocking an entire family from sitting! They had a door woman turning people away from the mass... I was shocked. I walked out. Otherwise an entire family would be turned away. The Protestant churches next door are mask free and back to fellowship dinners, this is so embarrassing.

I have not gone to Mass since lockdown. It makes me sad, but I won’t go while there are draconian, and frankly illogical rules in place for how we can worship.
I'm Protestant in CO. We're still dealing with mask insanity and taped off pews. It seems strange that people who believe in eternal life are so terrified of getting a bad flu.
Amen.
Local leadership is following local laws. Stay strong in your faith Pede.
That’s the problem. My town has no restrictions. My state has next to none (Tennessee). A bar is literally more free than my church.
Look for the traditional Catholic orders in your area.
ICKSP, FSSP, or SSPX
The Latin mass will be an adjustment if youre not used to it. Give it a month...
Go to the protestant church until your church gets back to sanity. We're all in this together.
Fuck whoever downvoted promoting Christian unity, you stupid cuck.
That's actually not a bad idea, but Catholic mass is different. There's a comfort in the routine (although it seems a little weird to people who aren't used to it).
Wrong advice. The Catholic Church is no doubt going through issues, but you cannot just go to a different denomination's church. Absolutely not the same.
The Muslims and leftists thank you for your service, comrade.
