So I got off my ass and I walked the two miles to the early voting site.
The cold wind was in my face and pushing against me the whole way there. Like an idiot, I forgot a scarf. Took me forty-five minutes to walk two miles, but I walked into the polling place with no problems other than being exhausted and aching. I would say it was unusually busy for a Sunday. I walked up two flights of stars, got checked in and cast my ballot with zero problems... for President Trump, Vice-President Pence and every Republican on the ticket.
On the way back, the wind was at my back and I had a little rush to carry me along, for a bit at least. The sun came out a couple of times and it seemed like forever to get home. I'm still cold, and I have a frosty aching ear now, but I feel like that meme of Frodo... It's Done.
I could have tried to go late Monday, or late Tuesday, but I wasn't comfortable with doing that this year. I'm just sorry, because there wasn't anyone else I could take with me. I did tell a couple of neighbors to make sure they voted, and I showed them my sticker... and I gave silent fuck yous to the three houses with Biden signs. Three houses out of a hundred houses I walked past with no signs.
No excuses this year, folks. Not getting it done, is NOT an option. GO VOTE!

I had the same exact problem as you but I was at the Butler PA Rally. I had to walk over two miles on hobbled 60 year old legs and I made it. That was just for a rally. I would double the distance and pain to cast that Trump Vote today if I had to. Luckily, I won't have to!

In my state of North Carolina I voted early. My wife had leg surgery and we didn’t want to risk waiting in line too long on Tuesday.
Everyone be prepared, it takes twice as long to do the process compared to last time because they limit how many can go inside at one time. I’m sure most states will have similar covid bullshit restrictions inside of the polling places, lines may be hours long so prepare!!
What is the bathroom situation like if you have to wait for hours? Do you just lose your place in line if you come alone?

If Trump by some chance loses, it will be on them. Those that were unwilling to take the hour or two to wait and vote. Those that complained about "Muh early numbers and dems cheating if I vote today". Those crying about "the gubbmint knowing who I voted for before election day".

Ours does - it's in a local college and we walk down two flights to get to the room designated for voting during elections.
In all fairness, that building has an elevator too. We never think about it as the stairs are in your face when you enter the building.
That makes sense. It's not legal to have voting inaccessible to those on wheels.
