Check out Langdon Tactical for red dots. It’s a pretty new thing for the 92FS frames. I actually don’t own any cans yet. I’m just starting to research those now.
Also, be VERY CAREFUL with a gun like that. BATFE has recently sent letters about "wrist-brace"-equipped AR-15 "pistols", making noises about them being, or how they should be or soon will be, NFA items. It's all very vague right now, BATFE refuses to clarify their exact position.
It started as a lower. . . The feds have no idea what this turned into. Also if they want a class action suit, they can go ahead and make that arbitrary rule change.
Problem - the shorter the barrel, the lower the velocity, and 5.56x45mm bullets' major wounding mechanism is yaw followed by violent fragmentation, which generally only occurs above a "magic velocity" of, if I remember right, around 2500 fps.
Below this velocity the bullet just enters, turns a bit, and that's it. Above it, you get horrific devastation, at least with a properly-designed all-lead bullet with a mid-bullet cannelure that forms a weak spot where the bullet can break (e.g. M193 or equivalent ammo).
When you have a short barrel like the one pictured, you're likely to never exceed 2500 fps at any useful distance from the barrel, so stopping power is severely reduced. Stick with 16-inch or better for 5.56x45mm weapons, and with the proper ammo type, to get extreme stopping power.
I'm not personally into the short barrels, so I never looked into what the best calibers/rounds are for them. So, I'm not the best guy to ask. Find a short-barrel fan and I'm sure they can suggest stuff.
Those are nice pistols!
Thanks. Just added the romeo5 on the 300 BLK pistol.
Fuck coonman. Sic semper tyrannis.
Am I correct in thinking that there currently aren’t any good for sights for the M9A3?
I like the tritium sights fine but a dot would be faster.
Also, do you recommend a good can for it? Thanks!

Thanks, Patriot.
Thing looks like a missile launcher lol.
he must have long arms.
Beautiful gun, fuck the Governor
Molon Labe!

I'm just saying, look into it, and be careful.
Yes, it's absurd, and it can't continue. Reform is needed.
BATFE and FBI need to be disbanded. Prohibition is over.
I’ve heard about that, actually. Trump needs to step in and tell them to fuck off.
And yet... you still post an image.

Ladies and gentlemen, Jim Cramer has weighed in on the issue! 😃 😃 😃
Virginia! Beautiful
I have the same optic, great red dot!
How’s that red dot?
Just installed it yesterday. Haven’t zeroed it yet. But everyone seems to like this optic from what I’ve seen.
Awesome firearm. Fuck Governor Coonman!
Is your dog safe?
lol. Although I get the reference, I haven’t had a dog in 5 years. Maybe soon.
I’ll check them out. I’m building one more AR pistol and need a forward grip for that. This is a 10.5 inch in 300 BLK.
I have the same mag! Sic Semper Tyrannis!
If it's not an ar pistol, it's Any Other Weapon. Or so I've been told... fuck the atf and nfa.
Nice guns!
Whats the handguard? Pretty good look
Magpul’s AFG 2. It’s great.
Sunday Funday...
Absolutely love my m9a3! Good buy. Have fun!
I have yet to fire it. I upgraded from the M9A1 so at least I'm used to the 92FS platform.

That’s why this is my 300 BLK. lol
Ha! My bad then!
lol. No worries bro. I have two AR rifles. One is 16 and the other is 18. I’m still going to build a 5.56 AR pistol though.
a muzzle for that 300 would be completion.
I’m actually trying to find one. Any recommendations?
I think it all depends on your state laws and tax stamps. Good luck, that gun with a suppressor is a dream. and you can probably hunt with it
That’s why you have to buy rounds specifically engineered for ~10.5” barrels.
Would you please suggest an "Other" sbr-type proper config? What caliber would be useful or rather more so than 300 Blk or 556?

Your comment is close. But wrong. You are confusing and conflating several aspects together improperly.
Weight of the bullet, bullet shape and twist rate are what contribute to bullet tumble.
The thing you are trying to refer to, is bullet expansion. Which requires between 1900-2100fps to expand properly, depending on the brand ammo.
Also, a 10.5" barrel will most definitely see 2500fps, you should NOT go under 7-8" though.
Lastly, I know you're trying to help... but if he didn't want a 16" rifle, and wanted a 10.5" pistol, don't tell him his business.
Yeahhhhh, okay. I'm just not gonna get into rebutting all that. Have a nice day.
