Anyone else notice that these people say, “wear THE mask!” instead of, “wear A mask!”? It’s definitely intentional wording. Reminds me of how muslim women say they “wear hijab” instead of that they “wear a hijab”. Like it’s a lifestyle or belief system & not just a piece of clothing worn for a particular purpose.

Who still wears a facemask apart from being in a hospital. I haven't worn one in ages. If I walk into somewhere that insists I put one on I walk back out. I'm not wearing a fucking headscarf.

One person tried to tell me I needed to wear one while outside at my brothers burial. I told him that wouldn't be happening and he never said another word to me about wearing one.

My brother is the one who pushed me to reject these fucking masks. I was surprised how many places just wouldnt say anything. I feel better not wearing it and knowing that I wont be led around like the rest of the sheep.
