domestic production almost instantly lowers prices

deregulation helps slow or stop price increases

pipelines help with supply driven cost fluctuations

more stable middle east means more efficient and profitable production there, driving crude prices down

U.S. is now producing so much oil that we export more than we import, and do not rely on other countries for oil ("energy independent.") This is due in large part to Trump's support of fracking, drilling, and oil exploration. In short, he is not constantly throwing up roadblocks to stop oil production. Therefore, predictably, we produce more oil, and oil products such as gasoline are less expensive.
