Just voted in San Francisco.

Not really a big fan of the process here, all I had to show was “something with my name on it” so it didn’t have to be an ID, then on the electronic touchscreen it’s just this big ass screen that faces in so everyone can see who you are voting for and once you finish that you get your filled ballot printed out and you have to take it to this machine that accepts it.

They gave a privacy cover to stick your filled out ballot into before it got put into the machine but the poll worker could easily see who you voted for and the guy helping me made sure to take a nice good look at mine. I don’t give a fuck if he knows who I voted for but I could see this discouraging some people
