If I remember correctly, the White House literally has turrets on the roof (snipers I'm 100% confident in), the bunker is made to withstand an unbelievable air payload (so some Antifaggot with his mom's $15 wireless drill won't be getting through anytime soon), and a number of tunnels that lead to other buildings utilized by the Executive Branch. There's a fat 0% chance they'd be even remotely close to doing anything.

Guards and the like would absolutely try and be non-lethal at first and try and just push the crowds away with tear gas and rubber bullets. But if the crowds began to get more violent and showed a desire for true confrontation (started firing at Federal agents with lethal rounds, for instance), then I think snipers that are routinely on the roof as well as likely posted along nearby buildings (given that this isn't exactly an "unexpected" thing) would begin responding in kind. Trump and Pence would likely be separated for security reasons and escorted to underground tunnels by a shit ton of Secret Service agents. No idea if they'd opt for the bunker or just stick with tunnels for easier movement to nearby buildings. In the meantime, armed forces like nearby stationed National Guardsmen would likely be high tailing it to the area fully locked and loaded and intending to do more than arrest people. I remember reading about the defenses awhile back (similar to you - just curiosity) and the amount of protection that goes into ensuring the safety of this man is insane. If I remember correctly, the place is outfitted with turrets, steel doors that can be locked remotely, stuff like that. (Though it's been awhile, so don't quote me.)
Just as an example though, keep in mind that this is the amount of protection and security that goes into the car that takes him to his home/office.
