From what I saw it seems the trump truck was already in the lane and the Biden car was trying to lane change into the small gap between the truck and Biden bus and muscle their way in.
They hoped they could convince the truck to deaccelerate or move over if they just kept going, but they ended up just trying into the truck because the truck just maintained their speed/position.
When the crash occurred, the truck corrected to stay in lane, but the Biden car had to go back. So it kind of looks like the truck pushed the car away, but that’s not how road physics work, the freeway isn’t ice.
