1 tactic should be to get people nominated that have as few special interests as possible.

johnqpublic864 13 points ago +13 / -0

Go for as many candidates as possible that are not politicians. Outsiders who are pillars of their communities.

Let's keep showing dc, we are holding their feet to the fire. We can be just as organized as the left, but in a good way

Nah. Let's just spend the next few years tearing into each other and arguing.

Would be easier if we can branch for a community.win per state.

6
jacko556 6 points ago +6 / -0

That kind of makes sense. But in some smaller/more blue states the communities will feel 'dead' for lack of traffic.

I think the same setup, but perhaps with like 7 states per day (rotating all week) sharing stickied threads would provide more traffic.

I'd comment on other states threads, but if I just had 2 threads per month (I'm in 95%Dem DC) I wouldn't participate in the forum.

Id love to help. Im in Alaska, and we need Murkowski out, but not so badly we can afford a Democrat being in, even temporarily.

Unfortunately, I am going to have to vote for RINO Thom Tillis.

We need to promote a continental convention to make some constitutional amendments:

  • National Voter ID
  • Term limits
  • make insider trading illegal for public officials
  • cement 9 Supreme Court justices
  • define natural born citizens (to eliminate anchor babies)
  • define that only legal citizens are counted for electors and representatives
  • establish limits to emergency powers
  • establish personhood/life begins at conception
  • freeze the federal government budget (ie no more increases) until the entire federal debt is paid

What else am I forgetting?

2A is near the top for me.

It was at the top for the founders too but.. here we are...

Changing the law will change behavior. Getting rid of abortion will help women become more mindful about who they have sex with. Getting rid of welfare increases after one child would do the same.

6
suntzu30 6 points ago +6 / -0

Getting rid of abortions would destroy us on demographics.

Then the communists out breed us, vote in communists.

And abortions become legal again (or possibly mandatory). Yeah, it doesn't work.

DJTrump_MD 3 points ago +5 / -2

Ends don’t justify the means. Destroying a life is never an acceptable means

iamherefortheluls 1 point ago +1 / -0

this is a good point. I would support keeping abortion but having a hard limit of how many months in you can do that, and the only exceptions to be cases where the baby is found to have severe disabilities.

meanwhile, revamp school to become family centric - bring back workshop classes, cooking classes, institute personal finance education with tutorials on how to file taxes for a person and for a small business. Gym in later classes should be expanded to have health information that should cover basics of how to take care of babies. (to remove 'fear of the unknown' factor for kids who grow up never seeing any adults around them doing it, which is quite common)

Define the digital public square and expand the right to free speech. Perhaps also define and declare the right to listen to anything you want to.

100 % agree. Voter apathy in 2018 got us Crazy Nancy and the Squad. 8 million from 2016 stayed home. We can’t let that happen again in 2022

9
tombombadil 9 points ago +9 / -0

That was largely because of much Russia. And if you think they aren’t going to try a second term coup then you need to get your head out of your ass. We will need to be on Td.win more than ever after this election.

I think 2020 was enough of a wake-up call to change that sort of behavior this time around... at least I hope so.

I think right now this whole movement hinges too much on Trump. Not sure if it will remain nearly as unified after him.

Agreed. Next up civic level politicians. Open the dams, wash all the rats out.

the wu-wu 'flu may disappear on november the 4th, but the reeeeeee's of liberals are eternal.

24
lifeisahologram 24 points ago +24 / -0

I hope it does. but considering how easily much of the population, even conservatives and trump supporters, allowed the Wuflu to control their actions and behaviors, I think we showed the elites they have a powerful tool to control us and they Won’t want to give it up.

And it’s true. A vast majority of trump supporters still wear masks in grocery stores. You know this because I’m places like Texas you have near 99% compliance. But we know 99% are not Biden supporters.

13
Turtleavacado 13 points ago +13 / -0

How do you not wear it when there's a mask mandate in your state? I don't want to get kicked out of the store/fined or police involved. We Trump supporters tend to be law abiding citizens. Asking honestly.

8
lifeisahologram 8 points ago +11 / -3

You just don’t wear it and nobody says anything and the police don’t get involved and it’s all scare tactics.

Very very rarely you may be asked about a mask, just remain polite and say no thanks or ignore them. Personally I wouldn’t want to give my money to any business that asked me in a way where it was clear completing a transaction was dependent on me putting a mask on, so I leave.

It happened once in July, and surprisingly yesterday after I mentioned how no one says anything to someone else on TD lol. The grilled cheese place in Mandarin Jacksonville is in my Never Patron list now.

But trust me 99.99% of the time you won’t even be talked to about a mask. If you don’t wanna wear one, you don’t have to!

Edit: it’s important to mention I lived in Oregon until October 1st and its “law” we wear one inside and outside. Only Firestone insisted anything. The rest were just stares, but mostly people scared holding their breath or walking away like I had the plague lol

dakin116 4 points ago +4 / -0

Restaurant here said no masks required (Knox,tn) despite a mandate, board of health said they wouldn't penalize them. The mandates are unenforceable, stop complying

3
Thep1mp 3 points ago +3 / -0

You don’t wear it. If they insist either leave or tell them to call the cops and roll on. Refuse to comply..... almost everyone in my workplace refused and the company dropped the mask policy within 2 days.

I anticipate this will be the forefront of the new MAGA party election in 2023-2024.

The fight can't stop, because the left won't stop. Maybe, though in a generation, with effort, we can turn the tides back to normality.
