I voted straight Republican for the first time in my life as well. I cannot in good conscience give anyone that falls under the name "Democrat" any form of power because it only adds power to the whole party. They have clearly shown that they do not have America's interest at heart - they only want what will successfully push their own interests forward. The party needs to be gutted and allowed to wither and die.
