Hello fellow pedes! My dad just tested positive for covid. He is in the high risk category and I’m very worried about his health.

We have a doctors appointment tomorrow but I need to know if anyone has any safe home remedies they have tried. I’m not asking for medical advise. I just want to know what worked for you guys.

Thank you!

Vitamins D,C and sunlight

Also, worrying is bad for the immune system. Get him to relax. My elderly, obese, hypertensive mother survived the WuFlu no prob.

I know you are worried and giving you this in case your doctor is a libtard.

This is one of the doctors who swears by hydroxychloroquine and has a telemedicine practice. https://www.click2houston.com/news/local/2020/07/31/full-interview-houston-doctor-in-viral-video-touting-hydroxychloroquine-as-virus-cure-doubles-down-on-claims/ https://mobile.twitter.com/stella_immanuel Telemedicine site - https://rehobothmedicalcenter.com/telehealth-service/

Humidifier if you have one. Relax and tell him to do the same. For me it was like a chest cold. My mom was high risk and had it too, but she recovered just fine. I’m praying for your dad!

Stay hydrated and rest, it's all he can do at the moment. And Vitamin D. Don't worry, it's going to be fine. Let the medical personnel take care of the rest.

If he has any symptoms try some elderberry and turmeric, along with high levels of vitamins D and C.

if he has trouble breathing then use an asthma inhaler. If you search Duck Duck Go it will give you the exact medication.

TONIC WATER with QUININE (2 liters over the first 2 days, one every three days afterwards - 84 mg/L or Quinine which is Chloroquine), with over the counter zinc, vitamin C, and vitamin D pills daily.

Its a ghetto rigged Zelenko Protocol.

And lots of water.

No joke. Do it, and all will be well.

Please reply if you have any questions. Ill be up almost all night!

Insist on getting HCQ from the Doctor.

Get a PulseOx sensor and thermometer and take measurements at regular intervals.

Haven’t officially had it (refusing to get tested unless required by work), but earlier in the year I was under the weather with some of the symptoms. Could have been the regular flu but my advice is do what you might do for any flu-like illness.

Supplements and foods containing Vitamin C, D, and Zinc. Immune system boosters and helps the body bounce back faster.

Hydroxychloroquine (AND Zinc) would be great from Doc but probably unlikely to receive. Listen to what’s recommended for his situation.

Home remedies can include breathing treatments/moisturizer, inhalers if needed, Tylenol and classic flu treatments like lots of fluids, sleep, and healthy nutrition. Get bed rest but get some sunshine if it’s not too cold/uncomfortable to do so. Sunlight/UV light activates the body’s cholesterol to vitamin D conversion, which helps further assist immune response. Maybe just 2-3 times a day for 15 minutes, can even sit in a sunny spot through windows if going out is not feasible.

Also good to move around a bit, if he can. The more daily activities that can be performed the better, but if it becomes difficult to do so (after being capable initially) it’d be best to get admitted to a hospital. In any event keep an eye on it and keep the doc updated if it gets worse.

Tell your dad to stay positive and kick it to the curb! He’s got this!

A homeopathic remedy that is available widely: Oscillococcinum. Will stop it in its tracks. Take it early in the illness. Also ginger is a powerful antiviral. Grate raw fresh ginger, pour boiling water over it to make tea, when it cools to drinkable temp add some honey, maybe a squeeze of lemon too. The ginger will sterilize the mouth and throat so the virus can't get down to the lungs. Drink a cup every hour.

When I had it back in January, I pounded EmergenC (for the zinc and vitamin C) and did steam breathing treatments with tea tree and eucalyptus essential oils (Aura Cacia brand) several times a day. Almost boiling water in a deep bowl with 8-10 drops of each oil, towel over the head, breathe deeply. Don't open your eyes or you'll scald your eyeballs. Other remedies are homemade chicken broth, mega vitamin D, gallons of green tea, garlic oil capsules, and immune boosting herbs (echinacea and goldenseal especially).
