This is my take aswell - If the data is true regarding rally attendance, we know that many D's have walked into the light.

Have you noticed most people dont call themselves "Republican" - they simply say "Trump Supporter"

29% independent!? That's significant. Those are basically as good as Trump votes because independent voters are mostly dems who've wasted their vote for whatever reason, so every independent vote is a vote the dems missed out on.

not in minnesota. we have a large green party/weed party presence.

we really are a completely weird state, politically. All of our democrats are pro gun because of hunting. also, we aren't even democrats up here, we are actually DFL (Democrat-Farmer-Labor) and are not technically the same party as the rest of the country.
