If you truly decide to search for God, there will come a day when you'll find more true reasons to believe in Him, than the number of reasons that you create to not believe. And then you'll learn to not be afraid anymore. Take care.
Atheist here. You know what's cool about Pedes? We have people who pray, people who donβt, maybe even people who call god by different names. AND weβre all standing together for a common goal. This is MAGA!
hahaha, you know the concept of God lies in your mind. no need to properly refer to such an ephemeral existence. wow that got deep. must be the burbon π
Same here. Raised Christian, got cocky in my teens, now idk what to believe. I mean, the Pope isn't Catholic, bleeding heart Christians want to destroy borders.
But I hope there's a God, and he wants us to prosper, and there's only one way we can see that happening, so I pray.
I hate to hear you feel this way. There are good Christians who don't want open borders (even heaven has walls), don't want to act better than everyone else, and who just want our country to return to God's principles, on which our country was founded. Hope is a great thing, but faith is important, even the mustard seed size faith. Turn to the Bible, God's word. You were raised Christian, seek comfort, wisdom and knowledge from what he tells us. But no matter what God is there, he loves us and he is good. Life will not always be sunshine and roses, but keeping the faith and being upbeat, positive and firm in your stance in everything is the way to go. I'm a lady pede in my 50s. Seen a lot, been through a lot, but I will cling to the knowledge that God has got it, no matter what 'it' is. xoxo
While I am agnostic in a sense, I believe in God, the God of Abraham. But i don't pretend to know much more than that, even after reading the bible cover to cover.
Maybe its all a simulation controlled by God? Maybe the afterlife is a parallel universe? Who knows, i just try to live as i hope God would want me to.
I think even if God couldn't possibly hear insignificant me pray, it would still be worth it for myself to reflect on my needs, fears, weaknesses, etc. But i like to think He hears.
And as we shitpost on here, the occasional heartfelt prayer someone posts really gives me so much faith that we will defend America as the land of the free.

couldn't have said it better myself
Much love, fren, but I am curious about something... Does an agnostic open a prayer with "To Whom It May Concern"?
(sorry, but the thought won't let me be...)
Kind of, actually... i hope someone's listening

No worries - in a great mood after today's pile of rallies; glad you read it in the spirit it was intended - Cheers!
