Wow, that's impressive.

I'm so tired of having to figure out what's for dinner that I just want to simplify life and put meat on fire, and having up and down energy, lack of mental clarity, etc.

Hoping this is the magic bullet (in addition to my running/lifting and good sleep).

Eg. Costco sells 4 large fillet mignon for $35-40. Cut in half so you're eating too tier stake every night. They also sell salmon flash frozen ready to be baked, at a decent price too. So you eat salmon for lunch, steak for dinner, bacon and eggs for breakfast. Done. You can rotate which goes where cause each works as any meal of the day.

So let's say Steak: 40 Fish: 30 Bacon: 20 Eggs: 5 Butter: 5

$100 a week, 400 a month to eat like a king

I'd personally roll with paleo. Can't really buy into the whole "fruits, vegetables, and spices may cause inflammation" thing.

Just remember to eat enough- always eat when you are hungry and eat until you are "can't eat another bite" full. Let your body heal itself. I recommend the facecrack page Zeroing in on Health. Many zero carb veterans there (10 years zc)

Dude...10 years zero carb? What do you have the will of a superhuman or what? You never miss bread or pizza or chocolate or anything...?

At best I've done a month on strict keto.

I've been having a great time with carnivore. I'm pretty lax about it myself. I actually eat LESS meat than I used to. However I completely cut out all plant foods. So my meal costs have dropped a lot.

I just eat what ever meat is cheap. I eat everything from port, bacon, sausages, even hot dogs when they are on sale. I eat a lot of eggs since they're so cheap. I also have dairy. Also no snacks or small meals.

I only eat at most once a day. This insures that I am almost always in a fasting state.

My ideal goal is to eat one meal every two or 3 days. And I intend to do this once I have children. Not only is it ultra healthy, even dishes and meal prep becomes much easier.

Think about eating 21 meals a week vs just 4. That's a ton of saved time and money.

  1. So eat only meat/eggs/dairy
  2. Eat fewer meals
  3. Eat less food

We eat just animal sourced products, and the maxim is: eat what you crave and can afford. I buy meat at Sam's, BJ's, Walmart, IGA, etc. Depending what I am looking for. Bulk ground beef- cheapest at Sam's, bacon cheapest at Costco and Aldi. Pork chops or loin, pork shoulder for sausage- anywhere on sale. Chicken, also BJ's or elsewhere depending. Since I am not buying expensive and wasteful fruits and vegetables, or any of the other myriads snack and grains, the only food money is spent on meat, and I am not spending any more than I did before, there is zero wasted food, and we spend no money on doctors. My husband exclusively eats 90/10 or 93/7 ground beef, and several slices of bacon each meal every day. My son (USAF vet at home while he's in university) and I however eat all sorts of meat and fish, bacon and sausage. I would suggest you read up on Dr. Shawn Baker and Dr. Ken Berry, Kelly Hogan and others. The best facebook group is Zeroing in on Health.
