There's a reason almost all government jobs require a degree in anything.
Those 4 years (or more) you spend at undergrad & grad school will brainwash you into these anti-American liberals, that will fight tooth & nail to destroy the USA if they don't get what they want.
Steal for the Gov. The actual rate of people passing off all those requirements is real low. Like single digits I think? You don't get chunks forgiven as you go. It's all or nothing after years of vague guidance.

I know it's all or nothing, and so do liberals. That's why they put up with at least 10 years of mundane government work. By the time they're eligible for debt discharge, they've sunken their tentacles into that lifestyle and don't want ANY changes to their 99% job security.
They even put onerous requirements for government jobs (like a degree), so that those who do become new hires will think the same way they do.
Liberals just got suuuuuper unlucky because the 10-year PSLF program started in 2007 ...and Betsy DeVos became Education Secretary in 2017 and slammed the brakes on the program lolol.
No, not true.
Just in the first ever eligible cohort for it because most people were confused by the rules and lots of people who weren't eligible for it tried to do it. It's like that for anything. Now the rules are clearer and the operation the program is smoothed out so there's less denials for random technicalities or paper work problems.
Trump needs to get rid of that program. Fuck you, pay your debt. You want a free education for actually serving your country? The Army has the GI bill.
Yeah the law itself is helpful, but not enough to actually change much until a large swath of them that have been there for years are fired. I say this as someone who works in the public sector, and I know for a fact that my education (a cv that sports the title of a local ivy league) is the biggest reason I got hired - or at least got a call back for an interview. Everyone that works there has a similar background, or knows someone, etc.
I'm fortunate enough to actually do meaningful work, and have coworkers that remain politically neutral, but that wasn't always the case. I used to work directly for the state senate (not as an elected official or anything), and holy crap I legit did nothing 90% of the day, and everything was an absolute joke

the reason jobs now require degrees IMO is because they want at least part of their workforce in debt bondage
Yep, that 10 year PSLF agreement is a steal, when liberals have $130K student loan debt (plus interest) for a music therapy degree.

Itβs actually a scam, something like 15 people only ever got that shit forgiven.
It wasn't intended to be a scam.

Or so... you know, you have well-rounded well-educated individuals.
Universities have only recently become liberal indoctrination centers
The degree requirement has been removed by Trump
Yeah I remember that, but these people were obviously hired alongside other brainwashed liberals with the degree requirement.
It's time to change the law so that it's just as easy to fire Federal/State/County/Local workers, as in the private sector.
Degrees are definitely shit for most jobs.
If someone has the capacity to learn and a solid work ethic, they'll be a better investment than a lot of people with a degree.
Obviously for doctors it's different, I'd prefer them to have massive education.

Who wants to work for and with those losers anyway...
