Treason is really limited. You usually have to be in the military, or a federal employee, and you usually have to be at war.

Still, this is conspiracy. It is sedition. It can be prosecuted as a federal crime. Let's hope after Tuesday, Trump is no longer afraid to use the Insurrection Act and take back American cities from these radical, unhinged psychos.
