The sole point of UBI is to make you dependent on them. And even you have the means to be independent of them nevertheless, UBI will create a massive, unstoppable army dependent on them and loyal to them.

He is funding it! More accurately, he has funded the non profit foundation behind it.
I almost want this to go ahead so I can watch how it goes. It seems... Salty in potential.

They've already started that with Social Security, but that's a good point.
