It's one of those yule log kind of 'cakes'. I don't get how you can judge the expression on her face when you can't see the cake they're cutting. To me the 'bandages' just looks like the kind of things kids randomly turn into apparel like putting a cardboard box on your head and pretending it's a Darth Vader helmet. Look at how loose the 'bandages' are around her elbows. No way they're for wounds.
