A state Donald Trump won by 8pts in 2016” This combats the concerns that Minnesota will flip red. I think it’s an effort to demoralize republicans (if Trump can’t win Ohio, no hope for MI, PA, or WI). It won’t work...
I think your analysis is right on. If the last day of the election was spent in MN, it would be a tacit acknowledgement that the lines have pushed that far. It would be as if Trump was spending the day in Texas.
