I have never seen such enthusiasm for a Republican candidate in Illinois, ever. Even when Reagan destroyed Carter there was not this much MAGA energy. I've read the "dear diary" postings and have to believe most are true because I've heard lifelong Dems in my fam claiming to have early voted straight R here in Illinois! Blows my ancient mind! They keep their heads down because they are behind enemy lines and don't want to be fu€ked with. They all voted for BHO and skipped 2016 because they couldn't vote for "the witch" and now are on the Trump Train and it feels good man!
