Back in the 1980s we used to mock friends that were majoring in anthropology, psychology, zoology, music, history, etc. because those were not majors that were likely to land you a job with a 4-year degree. I personally know people who graduated with these types of degrees and ended up working blue collar jobs or other careers that didn't even require a college degree. In terms of their careers, their degrees were worthless. Many of them had to pay back college loans as well.
