Reddit overall may be 40% American according to Alexa, but most Americans could be visiting the site from Google looking for live stream links. We don't know how Americans actually interact with the website relative to other users.

That also means about half of the site is not American, and I would guess politics is dominated by Middle Eastern and Islamic migrants in Europe. Also, America itself is "diverse". I wouldn't be surprised if white men make up less than 10% of the active users on the platform, and most of those being Antifa.
