One of the most America-loving patriots I knew was my great grandfather. Came over through Ellis Island from Germany, was a butcher and raised 5 kids through a humble lifestyle in Yonkers NY. Every Christmas before we could open presents, he'd whip out the accordion and we would sing christmas carols, always ending with God Bless America. Brings a tear to my eye just thinking about it, he'd be so proud to see this high energy going on today
