With 2 of my kids voting this election (for Trump), we have reached 50-50 among my parents & my/my siblings fams. We are all in MN. I think the young men of MN may be a factor if they just get to the polls. Maybe suburban women. I do see excitement for Trump that wasn't there 4 yrs ago--but 4 yrs ago those same ppl voted reluctantly for him. I cannot believe my family and some friends are voting for anyone other than Trump. They are practicing Christians too. Looks like the Iron Range may go for Trump, but Duluth is so liberal.
Yes. I definitely do. I know people who did not bother to vote in 2016 that have jumped on the Trump Train. We have an immigrant family that live near my house when I was growing up. They have lived there since the 1970's. Never voted. Ever. Raised children. Worked hard. Great neighbors. Approached my mother and asked her how to register to vote and went in and voted early for TRUMP. They were thrilled to cast their first vote ever for Trump. Took pictures and everything. It was a beautiful moment! That's just one story, but yes, Trump is for sure getting people to cast ballots that had no interest in 2016.
There's a misconception about duluth because it isnt very big. Hermantown next to it is half of the greater area and where the real shopping is done. Duluth has a port Hermantown is where the money is spent at best buy, the mall ect. You can tell the difference in voting by driving between the two towns.

I am a suburban hockey mom. Loved Trump in 2016. Love him even more now. I don't think I am alone.
Awesome! But do you know of ppl who didn't vote for him in 16 who are this year?

Iβm one of them believe it or not
I am in MN too. My coworker (30ish year old male) voted 3rd party in 2016. He's all aboard the Trump Train now!

Schoolβs out though, so UMD might not even swing Duluth
Do you mean UMD would swing left or right? Assuming left. I didn't even think about that. Excellent point!
I think he'll get the range, but, yeah, if he wins Duluth I will be stunned but overjoyed.
