That’s how they get the young and impressionable, it SOUNDS nice and “fair”. It SOUNDS like you are helping the disenfranchised, but what they are actually leaving out is that most people bust their ass to get ahead in life, opportunities did not just land in the laps of all those that are doing well by accident. These cartoons completely neglect the fact that there are plenty people at the bottom that are there because of poor decisions they have made throughout their lives. It’s a gross exaggeration and blatant dishonesty of the reality of the world. There is opportunity for EVERYONE in the US regardless of who you are. Whether you want to believe there is or not is a completely different story.
