Please pray for my dad guys. He has stage 4 pancreatic cancer and it’s been really hard to come to terms with. He went from feeling sick to chemo in 4 weeks so it’s still hard to reconcile everything. I know the Lord has him in His hands. He knows where he is going if the Lord takes him home. I would greatly appreciate any and all prayers and positive thoughts. This community has always been awesome. God bless everyone of you. Through it all I am still pumped to to see our President, Donald Trump, take this election in a landslide. I’m voting and getting others to vote or at least to not vote for sleepy Joe! Make sure to not just sit at home and go and VOTE!!!

Cancer sucks for everyone around it. Having been through the loss of my mother due to lung cancer, there is no advice I can give you. No words of wisdom that you don't already know. Say what you need to say, ask for and give forgiveness if that's what needs to happen.
Actually, there is some advice I can give you. Don't lie to people when they ask how you're doing. Don't say "eh, I'm alright" when you're feeling powerless to help. Say you're struggling. Tell people that it sucks. That it isn't fair. Tell them that your father doesn't deserve this, because he doesn't. No one does.
It's hard. It hurts. And you'll make it through. Do your best to turn towards healthy emotional supports. Ask for help.
