How, specifically, are you affixing the flags? Is there a kit that holds the flag poles in the stake pockets of the bed? I'd like to do this, but don't want to accidentally lose a flag that hasn't been secured well.
On f150 there are 4 holes on top of the bed in the corners. I cut a 2x4 to fit in the slot. 2.2 inches by 1.5 in. Then lop off per height you want. I did 6ft in front and 4 feet in back. Next, use a portion of the long slice you ripped off the 2x4 and sandwich the flag in between the pole and the strip of wood. Secure with wood screws THROUGH the grommets. I also added a third screw in the middle. Very secure. Did fine at 70 mph for hours. Flags get shredded eventually at high speed though.
