I still don't understand why the west is like this. In India a higher voter turnout means the Hindu vote is out in mass that is the majority is pissed or enthusiastic as hell. In the 2014 and 2019 election Voter Turnout was 64 and 66 % respectively. Both Time Modi increased his winning margin. Voter Turnout needs to fall below 60% for the left to gain power in India. In the West it is the opposite why is that ?
